It was in my second year in the United States, a freshmen in high school, that I met Mr. Burris. I didn’t know then but his teaching and influence would lead me to cultivate a love for meaningful teaching and learning experiences.
Through Burris, I learned that pedagogy is not just the method of teaching but the art of teaching.
Currently, as an adjunct faculty member at SUNY Empire State College, I teach three courses to mostly adult and non-traditional learners.
• Music Appreciation for the Non-Music Major
• Technology in Music Education
• Educational Technology in the K-12 Setting
